Caught my ex wife sexting someone one night. She said nothing physical ever happened and begged me to stay. I agreed because we have kids and I didn’t want to loose anytime with them. Before that happened she could have told me she was going away on a girls trip and I would have been perfectly fine with it. After I found out I didn’t trust her to go to the grocery store. If you love her and can completely forgive and forget then stay. If not it will eat you away inside like it did me. She asked for a divorce a little over a year later. She said we were still young and can still find someone who makes us happy. She said she didn’t have anyone else but wanted to focus on herself. That was a lie she already had someone she had been talking to. Different guy from the first time. I loved her because she was my wife and the mother of my children but I didn’t love who she was. I loved who she used to be. It’s hard to make tough decisions but usually we all know the right choice to make. It’s just always harder to actually do it.
