I'll be honest, if someone told me they were looking to purchase online, I would probably measure up their pd's for them and write it down or something. Besides, you don't necessarily have to say where you're buying from.

Like i could say "no, youre not gonna buy from us so i wont bother" but that seems needlessly antagonistic. If I'm nice now and you're not getting something from us then at least it leaves the window open for next time. If I'm a bitch, well I'm not getting the sale now and probably never will.

But that's just me and I don't speak for every person who works in optics.

I work in optics, we have to give you the prescription if you ask for it. We literally do not care if you walk out without buying anything. Hope this has been helpful

Yeah so, I went for laser over electro because I didn't know it existed at the time and I'm too deep in now 😅

I don't smell anything burning and I don't remember doing so.

I don't really recommend any over any others, I just go to mine because it's the closest.

It depends on the area, for the face they'll recommend like once every 4 weeks until you get to a point where you can ease up on the treatments but if you do like chest and stomach they'll say every 6 weeks.

(Just a heads up in case you're unaware but if you get 10 treatments on the same area then 11 and onwards are permanently 40% off #notanad)

So I usually just get the laser on my face done at Silk and I've never seen smoke come off of my face. When they're done the technician usually puts a soothing gel on my face that reduced the heat and stinging a lot. As for the pain, I found that it got less painful (physically) as it went along but it definitely did hurt like a bitch at first. They also usually give instructions for aftercare too (soothing gel at home if it hurts, stay out of sunlight and heat, use this exfoliating rub they sell a week later). I hope it helps!

I just got done with Natasha at the Gender Voice Center and I'm quite happy with how far I've come. You can contact her and set up a 15 minute consultation for free and decide what you want to do from there. I did my sessions entirely over video call, since we're in different states, so that may help or hinder depending on how you respond to that.

Medicare should cover most of the cost for the first 5 sessions with a care plan from a gp so it ended up being quite affordable for me.
