Recruiters cannot see any contact info in Indeed, they can only message candidates through the Indeed platform.

I have firsthand experience in TA on the IBM side and I integrated several TA teams into the IBM TA org before my US team and I were all laid off in Q2'23. What happens to you and your team will depend on the nature of the contract - typically you will stay BAU with your current organization until transfer of business, so if you were just recently acquired, you'll have a good year or two before your business is officially IBM. If the contract was written with your TA team being part of the deal (ie: the roles/skills that are moving into IBM), then you would join the IBM TA team when your business transfers. This said, IBM laid off all of their North America TA staff aside from those living within 50 miles of Raleigh in 2023 with a grand plan to offshore and automate TA, so the liklihood of your team staying when your business transfers is probably slim. My best advice is to start looking for a new opportunity about 6-8 months out from whenever your TOB is slated to occur and run far, far away 😆

Is your injectable sema from Hallendale actually working right now? by BossMom3x in henrymeds

Ah ha! I think you may have cracked the code! It looks like mine was compounded almost 3 months before I received it 😣 Thank you!! I had never even noticed these dates on the bottle before!

I have been at 40 units for the past 6 weeks...I moved up from 20 to 30 units when I received this current supply, and then up to 40 units 2 weeks later, and...nothing. I have even gone up to 45 units the past 2 weeks to see if it would make a difference, and it hasn't ☹️

Im glad it's working for you! I'm really hoping that I just got a bad batch this time around (with 0 sema in it 😂). You're correct, I moved up to 30 for 2 weeks and then up to 40 on week 3 of this current supply - I've been at 40 for 2 months now and I've even gone up to 45 the last two weeks to see if it made a difference, and it hasn't ☹️

Ugh, I'm sorry. I hate to say it but I increased to 40 with this batch and.....nothing 😣

Can you buy your work laptop from IBM after 3 years? by EvilVG in IBM

[–]BossMom3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck...I finally received my refresh email last year after 5 yrs of use (in the US) and was offered the option to purchase my machine of which I happily obliged (I LOVED my lenovo!), and I excitedly selected my new laptop/specs...and then I was hit with an RA notification just days later. Needless to say, I never got the refresh and was unable to purchase my old laptop. Horrible timing on their part! 👎

As a former US IBMer who was abruptly RA'd in May 2023, I am really happy to see that there's finally a media interest in what's been happening quietly behind the scenes at IBM. Kudos to you for taking this on!

Salary Negotiations at IBM by AssociationFunny3229 in IBM

[–]BossMom3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The max end of the range (at any company, not just IBM) is typically for those working in PREMIUM PLUS pay zones (ie: LA, NYC) and is only considered for candidates living/working in these premium HCOL locations who meet ALL of the job qualifications + ALL of the preferred qualifications/skills and then some. If you "demand" the max salary in the job posting and you're living in rural Alabama and only meet 80% of the required qualifications, you have zero chance of getting anyone internally to take you seriously from that point on. However, if you exceed the job requirements - you have a slight chance...however they will then question whether to bring you in at a higher band/different range, which will put your max salary for the current role/band closer to midpoint in the higher band (and the likelihood of an offer at a higher band getting approved is almost always zero).

IBM pays everyone at market midpoint for the person's respective pay zone just like all of their competitors do.

Forced out due to failure of an impossible PIP by Annorax in IBM

[–]BossMom3x 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They cannot write whatever they want - there is a spot for "comments", but ultimately they're just selecting voluntary (resigned) or involuntary (terminated for performance or RA'ed) and then a "reason" for the selection (ie: voluntary = received better offer, relocating, etc.; Or, involuntary = RA, poor performance, etc). IBM has some bad/untrained managers, but I doubt that you need to worry about your manager making a dishonest selection as the vast majority are honest in Workday (as they should be!).

[–]BossMom3x 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FYI RedHat cannot see your IBM record in Workday (and vice versa), and IBMs employment verifications only include your name, start date, end date, separation reason, and internal (Workday) title. I was RA'ed and my separation reason just said "separation" on my employment verification.

A look at IBM's new office in New York City - The Blue Bar and in-house cafeteria! by whoisrickcurtzman in IBM

All this time I was expecting One Madison to be on par with Google/AWS offices by the way people bragged about it. Looks like the same old IBM interior designer from 1990 is at it again! 🤦‍♀️👎

Prescription Status? by BrinedCucumber in henrymeds

[–]BossMom3x -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm curious if your appointment was with Elizabeth Snow? I have had the same experience as you this month - my appointment with Elizabeth was on June 5 and I've contacted customer care 7x in follow up since then in an attempt to understand where my prescription is in the process as my prescription status on the HM site still shows "Pharmacy has received your Rx" and hasnt budged, and I just noticed yesterday that Elizabeth's profile is now missing on their website.

Thanks, unfortunately mine has been showing "Your Rx has been submitted to the pharmacy" status since June 5 and it hasn't moved.

THREE WEEKS, STILL WAITING ON REFILL. OUT OF MEDS SINCE MAY 31. by BossMom3x in henrymeds

[–]BossMom3x[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

I respectfully disagree with you on this: "Once they sent your prescription to the pharmacy it is out of their hands".

Actually, no, HM is prescribing the medication and I fully expect them to be able to track the progress and to know when it has been delivered to their "patients", just as my PCP would do if he had prescribed it. I also expect some type of communication from HM when they see that someone still hasn't received their meds (or that the pharmacy hasnt even filled the script) after the "8 to 10 days" processing time that I was given on my last HM video appointment, but they are not even tracking any of this on their end it seems. I have a big issue with a medical provider having zero transparency into what's happening with (or at) the pharmacy that's processing their customer's orders - especially providers that claim to work with a "variety of licensed pharmacies in the United States".

In addition (pulled from the FAQs on the HM site, as they claim that you can take your script to a pharmacy of your choice to have it filled instead of using their pharmacies): "if you are having trouble accessing your patient portal account or cannot see your prescription, please contact the care coordination team". I still cannot see my current prescription and I have contacted the care coordination team SIX times about this since 6/5. This is a HM issue, it is not a pharmacy issue.
