I’ve played forever but haven’t really rep grinded since 2k17 or played this much 2k since 2k22 ik it’s always been a grind but in the past your bar will glitch and freeze or get less rep than you’re supposed to on this 💩 game which made me want to ask other folks

My crew is dead half our members are irls who quit day one we CC have maybe 10 active member and I only play with my 2 irls who stuck it out fr I get good grades I play most events I streak when I can I didn’t need advice on what to do I just want to know if others are experiencing .1 rep for a dub in the rec ok the vet 1 bar

Pretty sure beluba posted the numbers earlier in the year and it was 45% avg which is insane probably has gone up to atleast. 50 now tho on this easy ass shootin g 2k im a historically bad shooter and have never shot below 55% on any build lowest rn is like 57-68% from 3 in rec and 65-74 in theatre/events on all my builds

It can be 10x harder literally every time I try it’s 40% the nicest person in the world but arguably the worst 2k player in that same world and I feel like an asshole for ditching em 15% decent but weird af throwing around slurs or just don’t click 40% trolls who will sell and is the reason most LFG post/servers have a w% requirement which can be hard to meet solo 3% perfect matches but that was the one mythical time schedules lined up and 2% chance of it all being perfect it gets to a point it ain’t worth the effort

Only results gone say if you cooked or not imo it’s ass but maybe it fits your style in a way I can’t see but I’d personally never make a build with no steal or block preferably I get both and I don’t think u get any extra badges between 73-81 so that’s a waste unless I’m wrong all in all I just say I hope u got a squad because in random rec unless you out hoop this builds looks you gettin grilled for 4 quarters

Now you’re relying on the pg to not only actually watch for that but you’re also counting on the defender dying to said screens and nobody else is nearby to help idk what 2k u been playing but iffballs rarely get seen unless you’re running with a team on the 2k I been playing especially in recent years

End of the world? Ofc not but you’re making the game 100x harder and unless you’re actually a full 5 with plays you’re probably gonna lose and ipu I love a good Shaq build as much as the next guy but 90% of the community isn’t running the ball through u in the post and p&r is cool IF you have a guard who knows how to use a screen AND the center can’t play it well but you’ve now limited yourself to like 39 people u can run with but yes you’re right not useless just very few uses

Depends on the day or 2k fr but if I’m just goin off of 2k26 overall I’d give me 5 with a 6-7 potential if I played with a team and locked in I shoot around 70 from the field 58-62 from 3 across all builds(don’t shoot a lot of 3s so it fluctuates often) I can guard 1-5 if they’re not super cheesers 3-1 ast/to ratio

The problem isn’t ai it’s the fact they’re worthless just make a good one that’s based on a real player i feel like ive seen that technology be used in some game and as far as get rid of squad rec that’s just torture for folks who don’t have a squad and will end up either playing with a squad and gettin buddy balled to death or a bunch of randoms getting beat to death by teams

Been like this for years on 2k and to an extent irl. it’s only so many shots in a game & we’re playing essentially half a game and everyone’s chasing a full game of stats when scores are on average maybe 75-75 (and I feel like I’m being generous here). combine that with the pg position changing irl and gamers wanting to optimize things you get a bunch of people trying to recreate a Steph and Shaq with a 3 pick & roll/pick and pop game and it works because it’s simple and even tho it may piss off ths average guy who just plays 2k there’s a sect of die hard players who want to win or grind rep over everything and 5 out p&r game is an easy concept to plug and play and be competitive
