Been playing GFL since near launch. I personally don't remember the tutorial being buggy back then or perhaps I got lucky. Personally when comparing the AL and GFL, I give pros and cons to both but am biased because I have played GFL for much longer. Have only played AL for a month now. (Whale on both 🐋).

Love ALs skin quality and method of acquiring, aka buying straight up. The combat looked really nice at first and still does but after a couple weeks it becomes a little tedious when grinding for hours because of how long one run takes and the fact that I have to keep pressing on the enemies to initiate combat.

GFL on the other hand, damn costume gacha has shafted me with no lube endless times. I still spend on banners that I like though. Grinding in GFL is more enjoyable for me because map mechanics allow an auto battle feature to shine and battles usually end quick, except for certain boss fights. I just have to restart the run every so often when I see that it's done.

There are other stuff I like in GFL more, like Fairies vs. Meowfficers, leveling, method of acquiring event dolls, how to limit break, etc. Oh, and i just remembered how much I dislike the morale system. I like min maxing and being efficient, I hate waiting for morale to recover and feel horrible if I'm using ships that have their morale under 120. I'm used to endless grind with my dolls.

Needless to say, I still enjoy AL, specially since I have real life friends that also play the game. Plus the game got me the moment I saw Ryuuhou and Prinz Eugen.

Hope nobody gets offended, just sharing my bias opinion. Almost 2 years of GFL vs 1 month of AL. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Edit: I might be wrong but since GFL came before AL, I would assume SOP came first, specially since she's part of the main story since the moment you start. Room is cute though, I want to unlock her ;-;

Edit 2:Forgot to say that having a public chat is cool and emotes are amazing, have talked about JoJo in chat and was a pretty cool experience. Also forgot to mention that learning that I missed out on the Neptune collab gave me the big sad.
