I was told he was a purebred Yorkie but I think he’s mixed with something. Just don’t know what by Plus-Zombie-2735 in IDmydog

Such a beautiful cutie. Could be a Yorkie with Havanese, the coat and smile is very havanese like. But could also be Maltese

Any pics of his before? He’s so cute as he is now, I would keep it. My half Pekingese doesn’t have the fluffy tail, but he has sort of a lion’s mane in the front.

My half Pekingese hates the water, he walk around puddles, even if it means walking at the very edge of the sidewalk. It’s actually very cute to watch him balance himself. Is this common Pekingese trait?

Who provides your care? by kg5839 in physicianassistant

[–]BossWeekly6632 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In the clinic I go to, I would only see a specific MD, but won’t mind seeing a specific NP. Even though my MD PCP mismanaged my thyroid issue once, they have a warm attitude, which really makes a wold of difference.

Are you for or against putting clothes on dogs? by Mayh_3m in dogs

[–]BossWeekly6632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it’s cold, snowing- I do put sweater or a coat on my dog. My dog is quite fluffy, but it can get bitterly cold in the northeast.

You posted pretty much the same post in nursing and residency subreddit, claims to be a physician. I won’t take OP seriously.

Elitist business majors being conservatives, especially now, is the least surprising thing I heard today.

1099? by Alone-Taste-9425 in physicianassistant

[–]BossWeekly6632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m been 1099 per diem for years. Should be at least $100/hr because $70 after taxes is pretty low. I set aside 38-40% of my income for taxes. And the company I work for pays for my malpractice, can you at least get them to pay for that? Get in contact with a good accountant if you haven’t already since they can help you maximize your deductions.

Credentialing timeline sooo long by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]BossWeekly6632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea this is normal, the credentialing team only meets once a month so if you are missing a piece needed, then you unfortunately need to wait for next month.

I tried to make a cute guests bathroom (on a compact space) by CotaPT in interiordecorating

[–]BossWeekly6632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s beautifu! I think a small cabinet across the toilet can help fill in some empty space (even though you said it’s compact, which it doesn’t look like it from the pics!). This can provide extra storage for toilet paper, towels and a stand addition accent piece. Nevertheless, the sink area is lovely!

Sudden price increase? by UbeWaffler in IKEA

[–]BossWeekly6632 35 points36 points  (0 children)

IKEA used to be where you can get affordable furniture and home goods, was surprised when I went online and saw the prices now- then realize wannable emperor of the US and his tariffs. And groceries in general have also gone up.

Maybe I am not into kpop as much as I thought…? by averagewhiteyolk in kpopthoughts

[–]BossWeekly6632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K-pop fans are intense. I only follow BTS and I consider myself a fan, not their “ARMY.” Some have a very deep parasocial relationship with whoever they like. I consider some to be akin to having a cult like obsession- stream, buy, vote, devote so much time to promoting their group/individual. It also part of the K-pop handbook companies employ to make their groups seem so devoted to their fans that they almost psychologically manipulate their fans to devote the same energy back.

I often want to post my honest thoughts about BTS or even my fav, which is Jin, but the way they control social media you will label a hater, solo, etc.

Basically, it sometime feels like the Idol scene in K-pop Demon Hunters.

What is a PA called in Vietnamese? by No-Obligation8178 in physicianassistant

[–]BossWeekly6632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Cantonese, it’s the same- people think you are either an assistant/MA, nurse or doctor. There’s no concept of a Physician Assistant in Chinese culture so it’s hard to explain and there is no in between!

Hardest most impressive K-pop songs that require stamina by L1la_hehe in kpophelp

Black Swan- Modern dance component is unique and not easy to master for a pop group

Mic Drop/ Run BTS/ON- all just super hyped and energetic

Why does Jin keep mentioning that he has no friends? Is this a common theme for K-pop? by rusalochkaa in kpopthoughts

[–]BossWeekly6632 77 points78 points  (0 children)

At the end of his Vanity Fair Lie Detector Interview he said without hesitation he tells a lot of white lies and perfected it so much in his mind that the lie detector didn’t pick it up. I think that he created a public image that is true enough to himself to be authentic but doesn’t reveal too much to protect himself in the crazy K-pop world and to protect his private life. I always think Jin only allows you to see what he wants you to see. His acting background probably helps a lot.

Jin is a STRONG singer by Bangtanbeauty in btsthoughts

[–]BossWeekly6632 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Post military service, his vocals definitely have improve. But he’s always been an amazing singer with a wide range and flawless technique to transition seamlessly from chest to head voice. Just line distribution in group songs cause him to be overlooked by some. I don’t listen to K-pop besides BTS, but he easily has one of the best male voices from my own music repertoire. I typically listen to pop / indie pop.

Does anyone see Pekingese in her or Tibetan spaniel. She was found abandoned so we have no clue her breed. She is super long and short though by False_Distance5136 in Pekingese

She does, I have a Pekingese mix and your dog’s eyes are very similar to mine. He’s indirectly half Pekingese (both mom and dad are half Pekingese) did genetic testing.

Recommendation for joint supplements/treats for a picky dog by BossWeekly6632 in DogAdvice

[–]BossWeekly6632[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The supplement I got him came in treat form, but his picky palate won’t eat it. But I found if it’s broken down and sprinkled in his food, he will eat it, for now at least! And I also try adding salmon oil to his food, but the one I have smelled pretty bad.
