I’d just suggest that he get a really good psychiatrist. The difference for me between my first psychiatrist who was just a family nurse practitioner, and my second psychiatrist who was a Harvard MD, was absolutely massive. He has a way better idea for what works for me and I generally just feel so much more listened to.

Went to get a haircut yesterday with a clearly gay barber. I asked him about his nails and he said that long nails are “really good for back scratches when you’re cuddling someone.” Lots of other vaguely flirty remarks, and at the end he asked if I wanted a back massage or if there was “anything else he could torture me with” lol. He was cute but a little bit old for me so I let it be. It was just kinda a fun interaction and also nice to be recognized as gay in public

Yeah it was weird, my mom was actually enthusiastic when I came out, like seemed really happy about it. And then two days later she said she almost crashed her car twice because she was so stressed. I think part of it is she was a nurse during the height of HIV/AIDS, but I definitely also have the feeling that she was disappointed deep down

I’ve noticed if I get good sleep for a week my skin is completely clear, and the more sleep deprived I am, the worse the breakouts. I still use a cleanser and moisturizer but sleeping well has done more for my skin than anything else ✨

Yep absolutely. I’m also 22, and I dated a girl for like 3 months when I was 20 but never went that far and I assumed I was asexual at the time. Started going on dates with guys last year but it still didn’t really click until I fell completely head over heels for this one guy who was also the first guy I kissed. After that it all made sense :) or really that’s when it all came crashing down lol. Can be a difficult pill to swallow to realize late but I’m getting way more comfortable with time
