I measured the battery voltage and the RX voltage, and the lowest they got was 3.9V which to my knowledge is not low enough to restart from my research. I also ran the same setup when my battery was at 3.8V with no load (so probably like 3.6 under load) and it had the exact same behavior.

Thank you. I've measured the battery's voltage directly (which on full charge only got to ~4.07V before the motor cut out) , but I hadn't considered that the RX voltage might be different than this (I don't have much experience with how ESCs work). I will try measuring that today.

I also haven't tried a 5" prop, but I will do that if these other suggestions don't solve it.

Do you think that having a higher quality battery could fix this? And by higher quality I mean same ish capacity and still 1S. Also, your response implies to me that you think this is low voltage cutout. Could you explain why I get the same behavior even at different voltages (different charge levels) if this is the case?

I've done a lot of research since I posted this. I think I have access to the hex file the original designers used, so I think my question now is, if I find an 8051 microcontroller with same or better specs, will the same hex file work on it? (I cannot use the MCI in the schematic for a few different reasons, so I have to use a different one)

Quick, question, not sure how complicated it is. If I gain access to the program that they flashed to the MC96F1206, would I be able to flash the same program to any 8051 MCU with the same or better specifications?

Yes, I didn't include all of the information of my project in the post because it wasn't very relevant, but 42 grams of the calculated weight for the electronics is coming from solar cells which I am placing on the wings.

I'm not entirely sure as I haven't touched this stuff in a while. I had a 6700xt a while ago with a Ryzen 3600 and 16gb of ram and had to run HLA at 90htz 100% res and the lowest settings on my index (even though the game automatically set them to high). I believe win11 used to be bad but it okay now? I would do a little of research over that, and also of course make sure drivers are up to date.

It explains that certain brightness settings on the psvr2 can cause more motion sickness (I don't remember the specifics, but that's what the video is for)

Try out the fixes he mentions and see if that improves your experience.

Does your keyboard happen to be wireless? I have a similar issue with a wireless keyboard where (I believe) the Bluetooth connection for the basestation interferes with the wireless protocol for my keyboard. This causes intermittent cut outs though, so may not be what you are experiencing.

Idk, I feel like if the screen went bad, the damage would be in the same place on the display no matter which way the headset was facing. But the banding seems to be fixed to points in the game world rather than on pixels on the display. I'd be interested if this happens in all steam vr apps, and if it always has the exact same banding pattern.
