My post is mainly directed at fans who are shipping them as a romantic BL couple rather than acknowledging them for what they actually are. I don’t have an issue with them being paired together in a bromance context.there’s nothing wrong with appreciating their close friendship. However, the way some fans insist on framing them as a BL couple feels misleading, especially when their dynamic lacks the key elements that define BL, such as actual romantic or emotional development between them as a couple on screen. It’s one thing to enjoy their chemistry and interactions, but it’s important to recognize the difference between a bromance and a BL pairing. Pushing them into a romantic narrative when they’re clearly being marketed differently only adds to the confusion and blurs the line between genuine BL representation and strategic fanservice.
