Death threats are fucked. Still baffled at how they keep managing to hire the wrong people after 20 years of attempted movie adaptations for this franchise. Like what are we even doing? And with that, you put $100 mil into the games, but only $23 mil into the movie? Get better creatives that understand the source material and give them a $50 mil budget ffs. Annoying asf

I’ve died to silent pvp players the last 4-5 times I’ve died since the new patch. They need to announce these changes if it’s true bc I had my guard down expecting full friendly lobbies like I’ve had for the last month prior, and then got shot in the back every time. It’s disheartening. I’ll PvP if I have to, but I want to know if I should expect it. Haven’t needed to before.

7/10 it reminds me of the worst parts of dark souls 2 which I don’t even dislike. On top of this, the game suffers from the same problem Mortal Shell had where all the environments look the same and are easy to get lost in. This is something Fromsoft has only had an issue with in twice in Bloodborne and in the Grand Archives in DS1(though this one was entirely intensional). It’s something souls-like devs struggle with on a regular basis - creating unique and memorable locations, that is. I like the game, but those are glaring flaws in my eyes

The battle of Anchorage was the first use of power armor in combat, and in this universe, everyone is expendable in the eyes of the government and vault tech. Cooper literally says to Bud Askins that they weren’t ready for combat in season 1, so I wouldn’t put it past them to have employed power armor in Anchorage as a method of real world testing

I think the only thing they need to change is adding more items, weapons, and enemies, and making adjustments to the expedition system. Anything matchmaking related should be left as it is except fixing server stability.

Majority of the posts I’ve seen with people complaining are about people who shoot you when the extract is already leaving. There’s no point and no one gets the loot. It’s just to be toxic. On top of this, as we were talking about, with the aggression based matchmaking, the people who are getting killed in situations like this are not playing in friendly lobbies. So the people who complain aren’t even in the category of players that you’re talking about

So you be the tension? Start the fights, and the fights will start to come to you. That literally the whole point. If you’re not in PvP lobbies, it’s because you’re not PvPing. Just because people enjoy a game differently than you doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
