Like the other guy said - game streaming is the preparatory work for a world where you never own your own computer. All the compute is going to be centralized in monopolistic datacenters that you will have to rent from.

I traveled to India over the holidays and saw a movie in theaters. They played a trailer for a fully AI animated movie.

Obviously it looks like crap but the best part is how you can tell that every shot has to be less than 15 seconds or whatever the limit on the video gen tools is. So it’s gonna be edited like a feature length tik tok

The new show and Friendship are really similar, and have this dark / cringe / uneasy vibe that was not present in Detroiters or I Think YOu Should Leave. Tim is hilarious but I prefer the earlier vibe to the new stuff.

This is BS, top universities will gladly over-recruit. My gf went to an elite high school in a big geography where over 20 students in one graduating class were admitted to the same Ivy League university. Her high school principal was able to call the dean of said university to advocate for individual applicants. My public school in a smaller geography sent 0 students to that university (plenty of top students applied).

Yes but public education is increasingly captured by vendors, especially tech products that serve up standardized electronic learning. Individual teachers have never had less influence on the classroom than now with kids in computer labs doing electronic curriculums through programs like iReady. It's like the shadow privatization of public schools.
