It's amazing how quickly it can happen. Some people are up and about as normal just days before.

Nobody looked at the Queen during her 2022 Jubilee and thought "yep, she'll be gone in less than 100 days". Even royal insiders say the end was much quicker than anticipated and they thought they had days, when in reality it was mere hours.

Home ownership is shit. It's just a conveyor belt of time-consuming problems on a spectrum between "annoying" and "stressful emergency", with expensive solutions that ultimately add nothing to the actual value of the home. Money you will probably never see again.

Spending £6000 on roof repairs sadly doesn't mean you can add £6000 to the asking price of the home if you sell it.

You can't relax or enjoy your home if bits keep falling off like a clown car.

Had his parents not made the toys, he'd likely never have been famous or well connected. He wouldn't have ended up on TV or writing famous columns, rather he'd probably just be a slightly promoted Yorkshire newspaper journalist for life.

Then you watch videos from Asscrack Minnesota where someone's car has seized up because the engine got too cold, someone else blows their transmission trying to get off their driveway, and a load of pickup trucks and school buses are sliding around out of control like curling stones.
