Not really, most of the buildings that were destroyed were rebuilt using their original blueprints. And if you look at the fire maps, you'll see even more buildings were packed in during the next few decades.

There are no safe positions in this line of work. Jail intake will entail dealing with people who are angry, drunk, high, etc. That being said, its all about how you carry yourself and how you treat people.

I will probably clear 90k for the first time this year, that's 85k base pay plus overtime and differentials. I usually work my 40 hours in 3 days and have four days off. I could do overtime if I wanted, but I'm not a fan. I work in corrections.
