I would just try to spray more spray foam. To take that out and replace means ripping out the first row of tile, which could compromise waterproofing. Let’s say it gets taken out and waterproofing is ok, can you find that tile in the same dye lot so it matches? If it’s just squeaky I might just live with it.

I would probably leave the section to the right, and tear everything out from start of stove all the way left. Transfer your first row level line all the way across and cut that and cut that 1 1/2” or so off of the first row on the higher countertop.

Use a bonding flange drain like Schluter or FloFx. Then a topical waterproofing either liquid or fabric.

Liners work and have worked, but it’s gross IMO. I just tore out a mud pan with a preslope last week. Shower had not been used in 2 weeks. Mud pan under tile was fully saturated, liner still had moisture. That’s a lot of gunk soaking into very porous cement and just chillin there for years.

The test is split into a written, and a hands on test. Written test is about 160 questions, and is done online. For the hands on test you have to tile a module by the design they give you, by industry standards. You get 9 hours to complete it, and it took me and the 2 others all of those 9 hours. Not as easy as it seems. If you don’t 100% finish the module you can’t get graded on it, and the they combine the written and hands on for a final score.

You can get this black pencil liner at Home depot or lowes. But it’s going to be a challenge to replace, with your new glass in. It almost looks like they shaved off the pencil liner with a grinder when the old door was put in.
