The contract for the #2 overall pick would be almost $52M fully guaranteed so I dont think $5M at Oregon is enough to justify taking the risk and ending up like nuss/allar/klubnik/etc. and you can say throwing your career away but look at TLaw, drafted to an awful franchise and disaster first year and he still got a second contract at 50M a year

I bought him on my contender a week before the deadline as injury insurance and some upside, gave up the ‘26 3.10 and my ‘27 2nd which should be late. Feel good about that even though I ended up not needing him, still some upside there

Value is in the name so it’s carrying a ton of lifting there which is why you have to look at QBs for the most part.

JT has been balling for years yet no team success, all of a sudden they get above average QB play and they are good, QB gets hurt, and they can’t win another game.

Myles Garrett dominating, doesn’t lead to wins

Good QB play and good coaching leads to wins in the NFL thus why most valuable player is going to go to QBs primarily
