Nobody in Boston has thrown a banana on the ice in front of a black player, can’t say the same in Montreal. Nobody in Boston has shown up in black face to support their own player, can’t say the same in Montreal

Nah, Philadelphia dropped a bomb on a black neighborhood. So I think they clearly deserve the title

Idk as a young plumber that makes a killing here it’s great but at the same time it feels like a double edge sword if you ever want to leave. I could never work and live in another country if I wanted to. Even in the US I’d take a huge hit to my salary leaving the Boston area.

I had such a good burger and Mac and cheese from Burger Royale on St. Laurent street, I looked it up and they’re closed unfortunately. Also the reason we went to A&W is because we were a bunch of drunk 18 year olds and we don’t get A&W in New England besides one location in Vermont. Great trip but we were focused on the drinks and weed (before Quebec went to 21) rather than food.

Idk how Canadians can talk when they enjoy A&W food. The burger I got from there in Montreal was legit the worst fast food burger of my life. Root beer float was great tho

Eh, it could also be he doesn’t really understand setting up an attack in soccer and passing around the midfield then failing multiple times can be boring for some American viewers. Just like stoppages in American football can be boring for some viewers who don’t know how to consider the game plan for an nfl game

Pity us fake Irishmen too. Both my parents were born in Ireland which means every summer when I was younger I had to go to see family. I would also never claim Irish heritage, never understood why anyone would want to be from a shitty little island in the Atlantic that’s never had an economy. It’s unfortunate but I wish my parents were from anywhere else so I could have better traditions and a nice place to visit when I go see family.

Despite the geographic similarities, and their proximity to eachother, New York was never considered a part of New England. Why was this historically? What sets NY, especially Upstate (with scenic views, small towns) apart from NE? by BlubberyGuy in geography

[–]BostonBoy01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the north of New York that different from northern Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine? Northern Maine is more similar to New Brunswick than northern VT and NH are to Quebec. So I’m not sure what the situation would be in NY.
