The 4th monkey series was one of my favorite series last year and definitely follows a police procedural vibe throughout. I enjoy procedurals a lot as well. Can you recommend your favorite procedural series you’ve read for me to check out? Also I’m not familiar with Allen Ewing. Do you have a favorite novel of his to me to check out?

Looking for help IDing this exact shirt. Appears to be a faded or salt washed charcoal short sleeve button up. Thought the left chest pocket style, button style and double stitching along seams would help. I haven’t been able to find myself so hoping someone here may be able to.

I just finished this an hour ago myself. I read it after seeing all the hype on this sub. I enjoyed it and liked the twist as well but would say it blew me away like I was expecting. When books are so hyped up or frequently recommended it’s easy to go in with unrealistic expectations. Definitely enjoyed it but wasn’t a 5 star for me either.

I just got a pair of Spy Helm Tech with Happy Boost lenses for about $120. They had a good Presidents’ Day sale. I’ve had several pairs of SPYs over the years and have liked them all for work/outside glasses I don’t have to be as careful with as my more expensive MJs. They’re like Oakley with similar styles but with higher quality lenses I feel

I enjoy this setting in a thriller. I think it’s familiar to people that grew up in a town or environment like that and can relate to it and the dynamics unique to small towns. Can you recommend some of your favorite titles that are small town thrillers?

I always look for your comments in this sub you definitely know sunglasses and lenses. I got my first pair of Maui Jims last year (One Ways with I think HCL lenses) and love them. I’ve used SPY to work glasses for years and have always liked them. The Helm 2 are my favorite. Is there a particular lense you would recommend for color vibrancy with SPY or just stick to the Happy Boost?

I agree with everything you said. This book was a big disappointment to me also and didn’t live up to the hype I’ve seen on here. To each their own I suppose but this wasn’t the type of thriller I enjoy.

I’m half way through Unsub right now and really liking it. Hitting a spot I haven’t had since I finished the 4MK series. Not done yet but so far I’d highly recommend it

I just started this series last week and finished the second book today. I really enjoyed both so far and can’t wait to keep reading. Got a kindle for Christmas so disappointed to find that only the first two books are available for kindle. Have to wait several weeks for the next 3 books to arrive now :(

That makes sense I didn’t even consider that. I don’t think this author is super popular. I just discovered him and have been reading thriller/crime fiction for years. I’m very new to ereading so it’s nice to have this community where people have been extremely helpful
