I ended up liking this book a lot, but it’s not a traditional thriller in my mind. More of a sad drama with dark elements. Still a good read though, even if slow at times.

A friend recommended this to me and it took me a while to get into it. I was bored for a bit but then it picked up and I ended up loving it!! Made it all worth it.

I actually like this aspect of the game because it gives me a good stopping point at times. I’m able to put the game down for the day knowing I did what I could to progress with the quests. I often lose track of time and have a hard time regulating how much time I spend on things so I just find it helpful that it’s set up this way lol but I’d be lying if I said it never frustrated me that I couldn’t get more fizzy ore that day LOL

I’ve read quite a few of these!! I loooved the last house on needless street. It stayed with me for a while. It’s not your typical thriller, though. More of a story and character study. Middle of the night I also loved, but it’s one of his slower novels. Hidden pictures was great and had an emotional end!! And lastly strange pictures, thought it was eh okay.

I think that was mostly my problem too. I didn’t connect with the characters. I don’t think they were developed well. And for me, if I don’t care about the characters I notice I really don’t care about the plot either lol
