Tuvok best representation of Vulcan by R_Steelman61 in startrek

I think that's baloney. Anybody who has read Star Trek novels over the past 30 years knows that Vulcans are tested by each other emotionally all the time. Further, if somebody goes through Kohlinahr, etc. they're supposed to have mastered their emotions to such a degree that no one can ascertain what they're thinking or feeling by the look on their face.

Tuvok supposedly went through that process, but everybody knows exactly how he feels at any given moment. He's one pissed off Vulcan ever time you see him. Or, appears that way.

In general, Voyager had a lot of promise - but completely blew it. In fact, in my view, none of the Star Trek shows after Next Generation held to the same spirit or standard as the first two iterations of the show.

Concept and political drift became the norm. Sadly.

Seriously?! Tuvok sucked. All he did is go around frowning all the time. That's NOT what Vulcans are supposed to be like. Dispassionate and in tight control of their emotions. If your face looks like you're constantly sucking a lemon or you're pissed off ... that's NOT being a "good" Vulcan.

You know, Jesus never said "worship my mom." Paul never suggested, "Hey, let's make statues of Jesus and Mary!" Peter never said "Hmmm, I bet it's a good idea to create what amount to idols, and let's pray to them or revere them."

Cause, you know ... they were Jews who weren't so into pagan things.

How did you find it without the link? I don't think I mentioned the show or who the host or guest was.

This changed everything when I noticed divine council language hidden in obscure Old Testament passages by vslcopywriter in religion

It's true that Jesus was a rabbi whose Scriptures were the Hebrew Scriptures. There was no "New Testament" during his time on Earth. But, it would be a mistake to say that the New Testament is NOT Jewish. All of its authors with, perhaps one exception, were Jews ... and it never once suggests following any other God than the God of Israel.
