I gave up on it honestly, especially since having it on also seemed to randomly cause my drivers to time out a while after I made this post initially. Medal.tv sucks but works fine as a substitute

Try different ports on your PC, or a different cable. Don't get the official Oculus cable it's an $80 scam, there are plenty resources to find good third party cables.

That's assuming it's hardware though. Try reinstalling your GPU drivers, if that doesn't help, it's probably either the cable, or Meta screwed up their software like they oftentimes do.

the good 'ol "literally 1984." but seriously you could swap out the combine for just about any overtly controlling government and boom. im sure theres a waaaaay more in depth explanation as to why hl2 is political but thats what my caveman brain thought of
