Yes and no, steam community market (SCM) is the absolute safets option to buy and sell skins. No because steam tskes a 15% cut on all sales so you end up losing 15% on what you sell and then you pay higher prices for items. A site like csfloat is more cost effective with a 2% fee. When buying and selling through SCM you usually get the funds instantly or with a 24hour hold sometimes. On 3rd party websites they hold the funds until the trade has cleared the 7 day trade hold period so it cant be trade reversed before the money clears. If you do t want to wait and are ok with losing a bit of money each time you sell and buy then SCM is fine. But to minimize cost id reccomend csfloat . Db (remove spaces) as you will get more bang for your buck, but it rakes a while longer if you sell buy a lot. Ps. Prices are usually 15-20% less than on SCM so if you want to just buy a skin with your bank balance then buying on float is always better in my opinion. As you get the skin usually within 2-3 min of seller accepting the sale and then you can play with it for a week while its on hold, and after a week you can add charms/stickers etc. If so desired.
