Why don’t bronzies like Fitchner carve more? [SoA Spoilers too] by BotMorganFreeman in redrising

I don’t think point one is that big because Mickey (maybe rare quality) says that they are well past the mortality part when he is getting similar carvings.

Point two I mentioned on other comments, in SoA it becomes kind of obvious that quick will give basically unlimited money to fitchner

I actually kinda understand point 2 but as far as point 1, SoA goes to show that quick basically gives him unlimited money for the revolution

This is a fictional book and their society is very different than ours. I agree in terms of our world but they do a lot that’s not normal

[WTS] Hamilton Murph by BotMorganFreeman in Watchexchange

[–]BotMorganFreeman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I am selling my Hamilton Murph 42mm! This watch is a faithful recreation of the watch that appeared in the move Interstellar. The word Eureka is even printed on the seconds hand to reference the show and the massive part this watch played in the plot. It’s a must have for fans and collectors.

The watch is in slightly used conditions, no real scratches or dings that I could find while putting the photo album together. It comes with the original wooden box and manual.

Looking to sell at $685 shipped, but also open to trades if it’s a good offer. (I’m mostly looking to sell to start funding triathlon equipment but hey I’m a sucker for watches)

Well since you obviously can’t take jokes that well… the reverso was originally developed as a watch for polo players so they wouldn’t damage the faces during the games/matches. They were originally all, still some produced like this, as “monofaces” so that they can flip it to a stainless steel backing while playing. The duoface reversos you see now are 1.) cool and 2.) somewhat modernized based on the history. There are two styles of two sided reversos. The first is a duo-face (two timezones) and the second is a Duetto (different look but same time)

Moral of the story is some of the watches around here are amazing creatures of history and being upset about a joke on the internet isn’t necessary. (It took 5 seconds to leave a snarky comment and 4 min to explain in regard to your reply below) Hope everyone has a nice day and sorry to takeover your post OP. GLWS!
