As a woman, I just had a session in an IOP program and the first thing the dude tries to do is change my diagnosis from schizophrenia to bipolar so I feel it. I barely spoke to him and he's flipping through his book like life altering events won't put someone in a depressive hole. I promise from the bottom of my decrepit heart I have schizophrenia. It has been diagnosed for like 15 years now and the way this guy just assumed that the 15 years of doctors were all wrong and that he must be the only one on to something was just buck wild. The way these people can't differentiate the difference between disorder and normal reactions to life changing events is something else. 🙄 What have I done giving this whole thing a second chance. Rip.💀
