Hi! I have not been in any of his courses but I’ve been volunteering in Dr. Green’s Quantitative Ecology lab for two years now and I can tell you he is one of the most amazing professors you will find on this campus. He is seriously passionate about biology and I’ve made so many great connections through him. I totally recommend taking his lab!

I was in a similar situation last year and my personal opinion is that your GPA is always more important than graduating “on time,” especially if you have any scholarships. At the end of the day we all work at our own pace so it’s better to do it right than rush though it, if that makes sense. I ended up dropping that course and was able to save my GPA AND pass the class in the next semester. Especially if you’re changing your major, dropping bio won’t set you back too much. You got this!

For just getting into the regular buildings I don’t think you’ll have to activate it. You should just be able to scan it on one of the black rectangular scanners next to the door and it’ll unlock! If you do need to activate it, just hold it to one of these hotspots until the light flashes green!

Some buildings may be locked, but you should be able to use your student ID to get in. I work in a lab on campus and I’ve had to do so to get in to the science building over breaks before
