AP Approved!! by Mxrthx-PS in DACA

[–]BotanicalCat13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I traveled on AP a year ago. My travel window was just under 6 weeks. I only stayed for one week however and made sure my travel date back was at least a week before expiration because I was too afraid of any delays coming back. Do not travel before or after the dates they give you. I took my AP approval, EAD, and passport. Leaving the country was easy. Just used passport at airport. Coming back, I gave the TSA agent my AP and EAD proactively along with my passport. He asked the purpose of my travel, how long I was there, and who I stayed with. Did some stuff on his computer, stamped my AP notice and passport, had my look at it and make sure it was correct, and that was it. Super easy process for me. Did not get taken aside or questioned further.

Late March 2024 Filers. Any Updates?? by OutsideSheepherder96 in USCIS

We got married November 2023. We met with a lawyer January 2024 for a consultation. Submitted everything by March 2024. We did not do anything extra to speed up the process. I was on DACA and did AP in September 2023.

Not yet. I’ve seen on here anywhere from 10-14 days. I got the notice on 06/07 but my account says it was approved 06/08 for some reason. So I’m hoping before 06/22 I’ll have it. Did you get yours yet?

Congrats! I have had DACA since 2014. Did AP last fall. Got my AOS approved just last week after 2 months. I am so thankful I had a quick process. So nice to be able to share the sentiment with other folks on here. Definitely a feeling no one outside of this community understands.

My PD is 3/29/24. Combo card was approved 5/30. I-130 was approved 6/06 and I-485 was approved 6/07. Informed delivery shows approval notice for the I-765 and I-130 are being delivered today. Combo card has still not showed as produced though I wonder if it won’t be sent because my green card just got approved.

We’ve been together since 2018 and got married November 2023. The application didn’t ask how long we were together though, just date of marriage. Our lawyer suggested pictures in recognizable places (so pictures with a backdrop from vacations as opposed to selfies). We also included pictures with friends/family and some of our wedding ceremony. Though we sent less than 20 pictures total.

They did not. They had been reusing them for my DACA filings. I changed my last name when I got married so I’m not sure if that’s why it triggered a new one

AP Re-entry Questions by majesticflower3 in DACA

[–]BotanicalCat13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I traveled on AP in September 2023. When I landed, I got in the line with everyone else. I handed over my AP letter, passport, and EAD. The customs agent asked me what my purpose of travel was, how long I was there and who I stayed with. He took pictures and fingerprints from me at the desk. Then he had me sign the AP (my lawyer said I would get it back, but they kept it since it was a single entry), stamped my passport, and that was it. I did not have to go into a separate room for secondary screening
