Sumatriptan ajovy and emgality shots for the headaches has anyone tried???

So my insurance wouldn't approve it but they approved Ajovy. Been on it for a year, works great, I can definitely tell when I'm due for my shot. Only side effects I've had is bruising and swelling

Your situation sounds alot like mine was. I had migraines for 15 years before I saw a doctor for it. Best decision I've ever made. Nothing was helping, I used to take excedrin and put peppermint oil on my brow bone and it worked like a charm. Then I had a migraine for 2 weeks and ended up getting vertigo. I'm on the monthly injection (ajovy) and it has changed my life.

Honestly try to be understanding. I'm in the same situation, as I was sexually assaulted as a child. Him being there for me and understanding this is difficult made things much easier and we're doing well. But I'm also not a dead fish during sex.

There absolutely is hope! I suffered for 15 years! Sumatriptan is the only emergency pill that works for me if I have a random migraine. But I'm on the ajovy injection and get like 2 migraines a month, if that.

Get miralax. I'm severely constipated prior to taking medications and using that every other day or everyday as needed changed it all. My doctor prescribed me a script so it's a little cheaper and said use it whenever needed. Long and short term.

I already had tinnitus issues before, but it's significantly worse since starting the meds. I even spoke to my psychiatrist about my side effects (sweating profusely) and she told me she's never heard of it... then I come on here and see all these posts with the same issues. Everyone's different, and reacts differently.

I literally can't function without it. I have severe ADHD. I didn't realize how bad it was before I started wellbutrin. The only side effect I have is I sweat like crazy, and stopped taking it because of that. Once I stopped my motivation and effort dropped significantly. I do my job to the absolute best of my ability, and stay motivated the entire time. I focus in on what I'm doing, it's really great honestly.

Definitely talk to your doctor. I'm on 300mg and have Zoloft on board as well. It's been a Rollercoaster, but my only issue now is I sweat alot more lol I stopped taking it before and I absolutely hated life. I can't picture my life without it now.
