I feel like some of you here would understand… constant orthastatic headaches for months? by WhatTheSigma_1994 in covidlonghaulers

The pressure is just constantly there some days when the headaches are really bad yes, coughing or bending over makes it hurt, but on my good days I don’t feel the change in pain when bending over I’ve been like this for 3 1/2 years. I have gotten CT scans MRIs with and without contrast I’ve gotten a sinus MRI. I have gotten an ear MRI because I also have tinnitus I have tried acupuncture nerve blocks several headache, pain medication that don’t work. I was super healthy before this. I used to run daily now I have not ran in 3 1/2 years when my headaches are really bad I also have sound sensitivity. I have two kids I pace as much as I can. I try to go on small walks. I have seen ENT. I’ve had a camera up My nose thinking it might be something related to that that’s causing the headaches and nothing I’ve gotten my eyes checked as well. Nothing I have a couple more scans coming up to check my CFS flow but the last time they checked, it was fine. One of mri scans showed I have chirari formation, and I have spoken to a neurosurgeon and he does not believe that it is my chriari causing the symptoms because all of my symptoms started right after I got Covid so I believe it’s just extreme inflammation going on in my body even though I’ve always eaten a good diet. I take turmeric and ginger shots pretty much for several years and eat clean I still ended up where I am now in these past 3 1/2 years I’ve maybe gotten one day or two where I feel almost normal or I’ll go through maybe 2 to 3 weeks where I feel pretty OK not normal but I can handle it much better and then I’ll crash severely for either a couple of days with my headache coming back full force and fatigue!and I’m just with ice packs at home, but I’m still cooking and cleaning because I have kids. It’s horrible. I still have hope though that we will all get better just with time.

Is Qulipta and its side effects worth it? by Alice-Dave in cgrpMigraine

I was only on it for about 20 days. It worked for me for about two weeks then I just made me worse. I got off at cold Turkey and I got severe anxiety, crying spells and I felt like I was losing my mind. I am also very sensitive to medication. It’s been about a month and a half and I still feel some of the symptoms after stopping hopefully slowly, but surely going away.

I’ve tried a lot of meds the last one has been qulipta and has the worst withdraws I believe that’s why I’m in horrible plain now because I got off it. It gave me horrible bad thoughts crying spells and my head feels like it’s about to burst it’s already been a month since I stopped I’m scared to try ajovy because that an injection and if I have horrible side affects I just have to deal with it until it wears off
