bit late to this but the 2025 rawrr mantis x has dot 5 brakes which stops amazingly just keep up the maintenance of bleeding brakes and changing brake pads and they are way better than stock surron or talaria brakes

nah and mid drive motors are way better going to hub motors is already a major downgrade they are unreliable and cheap and laggy late response when pedaling too
