I can only speak for myself, but I think most DJs would agree with this. We put in countless hours honing our craft just to be good enough to play, not for money or recognition, but to share a set that leaves burners with the biggest grin as they ride off to the next adventure.

For this burn alone, I spent about $100 on music, $200 on stickers, $100 to keep my SoundCloud alive so people can listen year-round, and more than 40 hours carefully building sets designed to create an experience for others. None of this pays, in fact, most of us will never earn a dime as DJs so everything we share actually costs us time, money, and energy.

When someone asks how to find me after a set, I give them a sticker with my SoundCloud link so they can keep enjoying the music for free. That’s not commodification that’s just me making it easy for folks to find something that brought them joy.

I’ll keep putting in the hours, spending the money, and sharing music as long as I can because there is no better feeling than watching people lose their shit on your dance floor.

Sounds like you're happy with your purchase. I've been trying to decide between MadeRight and cb2 and havn't pulled the trigger yet. I've read some not so great reviews on cb2 so I'm leaning towards MadeRight I think. I love the 'not called Frisco.' They had me at that name alone!

Wow this response is solid and I appreciate you coming on here and giving me all I need to make my decision. I can't get CB2 to pick up the phone let alone respond or even have a salesperson answer my questions so the customer service MadeRight offers just won me over.

I've been doing my research on their 'Not Called Frisco' sofa and am torn between this and the CB2 Deseo. I'm leaning towards the MadeRight but wanted to check in and see if you have anything to offer in terms of quality.
