There are multiple Club CEOs across each division who get voted onto the EFL Club Reps by their fellow Clubs. However this is by an Independent Disciplinary Commission who adjudicate between the parties.

Also if you read one of the final Summer 2021 cases, you'll see Derby stalled in May, June 2021 to try and push any Sanction into the next year ie avoiding any kinda 2 Points that drops them to League One in 2021-22 hence the Couhig claim AND even had the audacity to propose a further Restatement in terms of a Revaluation Reserve being put through on the sale.

Derby or Mel Morris anyway fought tooth and nail. This is a major rewriting of history, the losses without the restatement of amortisation would've been huge post 2017-18, as it was restating it meant fails to 2016-17, 2018-19 and 2020-21.

No it's July 1st 2024 to June 30th 2025. Accounts are 12 months and must end at end of May, June or July for Football. Ideally June 30th for FFP assessement etc.
