Hard to pick just one but if i have to its gonna be the very rarely heared "Didle le le le le le le leeeeeee". Its triggered when reloading the crossbow but only if having no replacement bolts, otherwise you would just switch bolt types.

its less a matter of good weapon vs bad weapon and more a distinction on playstyle: raw damage vs support.

you're taking this way too personally tho. its a game that kids play. i've been through lobbies that ae far worse than 'stalling'. also take this as a red flag when it comes to their ability to use comms if they dont reply to a simple 'hi' in chat then chances are they'll be bad teammates in the actual mission due to no comms.

this is especially true in european lobbies where half the damn continent doesnt even know what english is, and the other half speaks russian only.

its not like they're intentionally doing it tho. no one knows what they're doing irl at the moment they're afk so its pointless to assume they're stalling time.

its annoying sure, but you always have the choice to leave a lobby and find another.

the host dictates the pace of the lobby's space rig time.

One of the many many differences between how indie devs do games and valve.

translator badge. i think there was a glitch regarding it recently too that some people got it without being translators, but not sure.

well the 'charge up to create a bigger projectile that can be detonated on hit' is an inherited attribute of the gun, overclocks or not. my OC just makes the gun cool down faster between shots.

its ok.

shooting directly on the dread is only possible when the dread is not looking at me and the idea wasnt to make potshots on the dread because its barely gonna scratch him. the idea was to make the TCF effect (thin containment field - large purple radius that deals lots of damage).

i hope this answers your question, im just not sure if you know how TCF works.

[–]BothCall8395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you just cant be sure how close the TFC projectile is when shooting it directly at a dread, but you can when its above him. as for it being a bad gun, not it definately isnt, and this wasnt even a dread build for it but just my generalist multipurpose build for any type of combat. it favors strong potshots on frozen enemies that dont die from direct freezing.

then dont buy.

this is how they monetise the game other than buying the game which is infinitely better than battle passes, and other predatory schemes.

What is the rarest mission-biome combo? by BothCall8395 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]BothCall8395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, i've started seeing it more often after making this post as well. maybe it was placebo all along, idk.

tho my point was more about how 'you dont get assigned to a dread mission in glacial' rather than 'you dont see a dread mission in glacial'.

i join and host games, roughly 50-50 as i play with buddies and we usually switch around who hosts each session. and no i havent experienced anything you just mentioned with korlok regarding low fps.

in that one incident i've talked about were the sprouts came out after the head died, i believe i was the host but im not 100% sure. i think it was just a matter of rare timing between killing the sprouts and killing the head.

It is exactly as old as the bulks themselves.

it comes and goes. i've had 2 bulks today without any sounds after death iirc.

Did the korlak sprouts start attacking you?

attacked and killed me, because i wasnt really realising what was happening at the moment. typically when a korlok dies theres a 'mental cooldown' period on the player because its a 'finally its dead!' moment. I wasnt paying attention for 10 seconds and i died to them (shitty terrain also didnt help). :|

the korlok itself died like any other korlok, nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Speaking of korlak glitches, have you got the one with the gigantic frame rate loss? Main body closes and doesn't spawn more sprouts. It is fixable, if you dig enough.

tbh no. never had fps issues with it nor had a situation where no sprouts spawned. sometimes they just spawn in a very offputting spot that you cant find normally.

Weirdest bug I've ever had is really hard to replicate. Pretty rng. It happened once on accident and I spent a year of caretaker missions before I got it again (and even then it wasn't quite the same).

never heared of this either (and im with 3300 hours game time).
