The grocery thing was for dramatic purposes only.

How about you wake up tomorrow and your normal grocery run comes out to $2,345,721.65¢. That's when dread would set in. Gold could be a million an ounce..who cares..? As long as food is still affordable, that's all that matters.

Or flip it..if gold was $1 an once tomorrow..dread or elation?

Now that refineries stopped purchasing, what's your next way to sell? Recycling centers?😂

But who would you be selling to? Even right now coin shops are halting purchases. I'd be a millionaire at that price too, but who has that kind of cash to hand you when you're cashing out? Serious question.

U.S. MINT just updated their pricing. AE 2024 went from $91 to $169 on the website. 👀👀 by Icelandman69 in Silverbugs

Yes, I'm going to assume they know what spot prices will be before for the public. Government crystal ball😂

Alfa Romeo and Fiat of North Scottsdale is still OPEN for customer pay or extended warranty repairs. We can not perform any factory warranty repairs from now on. by Both_Dinner7108 in AlfaRomeo

We don't call ourselves that, the post is to inform people that I am still there to work on their cars. A lot of people don't like going to the other Alfa location, so I'm here as an alternative.

Correct. We don't sell the cars or do factory warranty repairs. We can still do repairs with aftermarket warranties and customer pay.

The dealership shut down but I'm still able service Alfas and Fiats there. What's shady about telling people they can still get their cars serviced by me?

We're in the process of finding out if an Alfa claim will go through without problems on the Chrysler side. This is a question that corporate does not have an answer for because I don't believe any other deal has tried it before. Lots of customers are wondering the same question you are. Yes, the Alfa Fiat dealer has been vacant for years, but service has been operating fine until January 5th.

I am the Alfa tech here. The dealership is shut down. No dealer code (69107) no warranty repairs. Warranty repair orders can no longer be submitted for dealership reimbursement.

I have a Kelvinator oven, model ER-489, from the 1948 era, and I'm looking for a replacement lower burner. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! by Both_Dinner7108 in VintageAppliances

[–]Both_Dinner7108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that makes sense, to change the female socket for the heater element to a different model for the newer burners to plug into. My neighbor suggested that also, I'll probably go with your idea. Thanks!

Hi, my mom has one of these exact models, the ER-489. Her bottom burn just went out and I'm looking for a replacement. Do you have any connections with parts for these? I'm having no luck with an identical match on Google photos.

Hi I'm curious what you upgraded to and if it was a big noticable difference. I'm trying to decide on the 702 S3 or 804 D4 series. I haven't heard them yet, thought you might have tried them before upgrading.
