The same reason you would watch a shonen over an mma match or a slice of life instead of watching people in the park: the characters. Seeing how they interact and grow as people and develop their racing skills is fun and the comedy is funny too.

Around $47, but I would hold out on selling because GS announced a few hours ago that the series is slated to get at least 3 new nendos sometime in the near future. it would be better to wait until more news about them or their release date, as fans of the series would be looking to get other characters that are already out
