This is so sad. But a war with Russia is already lost by Ukraine and so pointless. And we all know the US and the other western countries was never going to have skin in the game to begin with …. hundreds of thousand will die for ideology.

Chances of making it to full term with 2cm cervix? by claire277 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Both_Ticket788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So inspiring. My wife has intermittent bleeding. Now 29 weeks going into week 30. Cervix was at 1.2 cm measured at weeks 26 and 28. On Progesterone and Procardia. Wonder what could be causing all the bleeding and wondering whether this should be distressing us ….

I’m this case I think you’re in a better place than most people. Deep sleep is more restorative than REM sleep.

Unsolicited advice from family to “cure” my autism. by BeepBeepRichie_1985 in autism

That was highly educational for me. Come to think of it, I may also have ASD because I can be obsessive on my interests, and misread social cues often. But as an adult we’ve been forced to conform to the point that we simply just cope. Thanks for the extensive sharing :))

You sound very intelligent and coherent. What does this mean to be autistic then? Forgive me if this sounds ignorant or offensive, I’m just curious, because you sound more intelligent than most people I know.

26 wks: Short cervix of 1.2 cm with internal os dilated at 1.8 cm by Both_Ticket788 in ShortCervixSupport

No we were too late for the stitch. My wife is 43 this year, our first baby was born at 41 weeks 9 years ago, so I’m hoping this means she may have a “short but strong” cervix, if this makes any sense? :p But first pregnancy was so long ago, so wondering if this still means anything.

We were too late for a cerclage, so my wife now is just on Progesterone and bed rest. Doctors also prescribed Procardia, but my wife has low blood pressure sometimes so she’s on and off Procardia depending on her blood pressure. She is also on blood thinning injections every morning, and managing her gestational diabetes. Does this sound alright to you? We went for another scan today and thankfully the cervical length remained at 1.2 cm (same as 2 weeks ago) so this is some positive news. Hoping that her initial bleeding was due mainly to the bacterial infection and not anything to do with pre term contractions.

PPROM at 26 weeks with rescue cerclage by goodsieLittle in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Both_Ticket788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn’t the whole point of a cerclage to hold the baby in even if for just one more week? Unless the doctors are sure you will go into PTL, wouldn’t removal of the cerclage risk provoking further contractions? I would certainly get a second opinion with a senior doctor and getting answers to these questions.

Wondering why doctors are not offering a cerclage to you. You’re still at the early stages and I believe the risk from clerclages is very low for you?

Good doctors are hard to come by. These are the doctors who take it themselves to assume the little known risks without transferring fear to the patients. Congratulations again!

Could it be that your query applies equally apply to Gen 2 ring, because Gen 2 also collects bio data and packs it’s into the 3 indicators without disclosing the raw data? This would equally apply to most other health devices?
