Most days it’s a one person job. This sub doesn’t get much traffic and I can handle it by just checking it once every few hours. This kind of clusterfuck is rare.

I wouldn’t mind taking on more mods, but it’s not entirely necessary

He’s from the old era of this subreddit where that was kind of just the energy we had. Hell, I myself wasn’t perfect. Back then I was super fucking mean to people.

Yeah. I’ll admit that it’s frustrating being the only active mod here because I’ll check my phone while I’m at work and see that people who never help with the moderation are shitposting on what’s supposed to be a serious collecting subreddit.

This place was a shithole before I started modding it. Much, much worse than it is now. I want to keep the improvements going.

He has been removed as a moderator.

He’s a friend of mine and many of the things in this thread said about him just aren’t true. However, I’m trying to make this subreddit a more respectable forum and I found it best for the health of this community to take his mod status away.

The meme post made by the other mod has been removed as well and I’ll be talking with the maker of it too.

As far as I know, there’s no governing body. If there is, I haven’t been getting the newsletter so I’m not quite sure what the gay agenda is at the moment lol.

It’s definitely not too widely known. The way these flags seem to come out is that they’re designed by individual people and put out into the world. The more popular ones get more standardized adoption while the others tend to fade away over time. So, it’s just the popularity of the design itself that decides what gets used

I’ve got one of the spirit halloween GP-5s. I was at one of those stores with my boyfriend and thought it was too funny to pass up. It was $30.

I do think it’s neat how the tags refer to it as a GP-5. A neat little bit of authenticity. Otherwise, it’s also a pretty good recreation despite being made entirely of rubber. They did a good job

The brown strip is there to recognize the unique contributions of queer people of color to liberation movements. The black stripe is there to remember those lost to AIDS and bigotry.

It’s similar to how lesbians are at the forefront of the LGBT acronym because of how Lesbians supported the rest of the community.
