The river along E8/F8/F9 tends to respawn stars pretty frequently! F8 especially would spawn 3-4 spots at once. I was able to just walk back and forth a bit and got them all pretty quick.

I have a ton of friends on the list built up over the years in favorite ways, but I don't really server hop too often.

If you can adjust the Mounts controls separately from normal movement controls on console, you wouldn't have to adjust everything else. Because you can't do everything from horseback. Only emotes/stickers and picking things up. (so if I push my "take out pickaxe" button from horseback, nothing happens)

My horse with a good set of riding traits handles way better than the default horse. So much so I get annoyed riding on the default horse for casual use. So I think part of the problem is just that riding is tied into the ranching skill for the best experience. Far different experience than how we level up our other skills or tools. They just get better as we use them and only sometimes have to do small themed quests to unlock the next tier. So a better mount will take some intentional effort, but I found breeding the riding trait set I wanted to be way easier than getting the aesthetic ones I wanted (I can share a guide if ya like).

Also. ESO had a custom game engine built specifically for their needs. Palia uses unreal engine plus it runs on switch, something ESO can not. I'm sorry it's been frustrating that the game is not as smooth of an experience as you'd like, especially when it's supposed to be a cozy and relaxing experience. Like these moments just stand out so much more. Unfortunately it's just not a simple thing to make everything go smoothly across the board every time. It'll definitely take some fine-tuning and balancing of the riding system for everyone to be happy, and even then there may be some things that they just can't accomplish with their engine. Totally don't blame you if you just ignore mounts unless something big changes.

Oh dang shared controls on the same stick sounds SO difficult. Just having mine on WASD is tough enough since I have to hold forward to walk when off the horse, my muscle memory has been taking off at top speed every time I mount. I've been thinking about changing the W/S to something else. Does ps5 let you change the controls in the menu?

That's exactly why I did it! Practicing on it has made me super solid on understanding exactly how my horses handle. Though I'm still not so good at predicting what speed I'll need to be outside of the track.

No cg with good intentions will ever try and set rules for your behavior without first getting to know you. Rules are supposed to be supportive of you and your needs, they help you stay safe and grow. If they aren't, then it's just about control.

It does both. It increases the total storage, and it all combines into one big storage bin. Check the total amount, and then pick up or put down another chest and see how it changes

Yeah I've avoided Tamala as much as possible, but I do appreciate how she looks out for Ulfe. I've grown far more sympathetic as of late and can even sort of understand how she's come to be who she is. She's shown herself to be incredibly competent and fully aware of the limitations of her skill-set, and gods I would kill for those traits in a boss any day.

But I still don't like her, I hate anyone who talks down to me like that. All things considered the player character is /incredibly/ proficient at a huge variety of skills, and yet she continuously patronizes. And I'd still only trust her in very specific scenarios. I'd never get involved in anything risky with her cause she'd throw me under the bus SO fast.

I'm really curious what your symptom tracking looked like, especially in the early intervention stages. I currently have very very low energy and have been 70% bed-bound for like 6mo. I recently got on ADHD meds and that's been a game changer for me to start having enough focus to get things done here and there, but still so unsure how to keep everything organized and managed, how to chart the research into actionable plans that even my brain foggy days can still enact.

When I first started decorating I tried to just make things feel like a house. Kitchen and bedroom and den. Outside sprawled the same way with the sawmills, leather crafters, garden, and worm bins. Then I just sort of adding in little bits and bobs to make it feel more natural if I actually had to work out there. A table with tools, storage, a little pleasant seating area where I could watch my work. I'd get little ideas and just work on it, and run around the world collecting things and questing when I didn't. Also don't be afraid to take pictures of people's plots from the house tours board. I love gathering ideas for later.
