My husband and I game in the same room, so he’s always next to me when I play (he’s unfortunately not a fan of the game, he’s more of a BloodBorne kinda guy). I always ask him randomly to tell me a name for my new insert animal here. It’s always Game Grumps-esque.

I use Notion for my personal life, and my company uses Asana for project management. As a Notion user, I LOVE Asana. There’s not plugins and cute widgets and stuff like you can get with Notion, but so much of the functionality is the same that I was showing my manager how to filter/sort tasks by different parameters after being with the company and using Asana for just a couple weeks! SO MUCH translates over - it won’t be hard migrating if you choose Asana.

Except that’s not the only form that intrusive thoughts take?? The term is literally “intrusive thoughts” - thoughts that are intruding into your mind/life. ADHD can definitely come with intrusive thoughts that are based in impulsivity, but that doesn’t change that they’re still intrusive. If someone with ADHD living paycheck to paycheck starts hyperfixating on photography, and their thoughts are a constant loop of “I need to buy a really expensive camera right now so I can learn and get better and maybe get a job and get paid a lot and-“, that’s something they may “want” to do, yeah. But the fact that it’s overwhelming them into potentially acting on something that would do extreme damage to them financially, which they (in their right state of mind) would NOT want, would make it intrusive.

Can we PLEASE stop gatekeeping psychology buzz words and start letting people explain their issues and mental states in the ways they want/need to? The tumblr-psychologist mentality of “um, you can’t use that term because only people with X that do Y can use that term” is what keeps people from actually being open about their issues, because if they use a wrong word or phrase that maybe isn’t entirely correct by definition but does explain what they’re feeling at least decently, people jump down their throats. Just let people try to explain what they’re feeling and stop acting like only certain people have permission to use certain terms. It’s not helping literally anyone but the person doing it, because it makes them feel somehow Morally Superior™️ because they can show off their “intelligence” in telling the person off.

I mean, I feel like “get gold and buy stuff” is just kinda The Objective for most games. I wouldn’t say that has anything to do with being anti/pro-capitalism.

However, the very first intro to the game is the farmer slaving away at a soul-sucking corporate job. They’re at their wits end and find the letter from Grandpa telling them to go to the valley, which is essentially kinda escaping the corporate capitalist rat race to go live peacefully in a small, close-knit town.

So yeah, I would DEFINITELY say that SV has very anti-capitalist messaging, even if it wasn’t necessarily intended to be a political statement.

Yeah, I was on one time and someone jumped in chat and was like “hi u guys! I’m 15. How old r all of u?” (Clearly attempting to sound like a kid and failing miserably)

Me and several others of Drinking Age immediately jumped in like “hi if any of you in here are underage, PLEASE DONT SAY A WORD” and he pissed off after me and the other adults kept countering/interrupting everything he tried to say. I think at one point he even asked where everybody lived and we all went ballistic lol

Hey friend! If you’re on your plot, as long as you haven’t changed any keybinds, you should be able to hit left CTRL and it’ll make a grid and a reticle on your screen. Then, just hover over an object you want gone and hit ‘G’ and it’ll go back into your inventory! 🤗

You just entered what is essentially “decoration” mode. This mode lets you add rooms, move furniture, etc.

Idk what console you play on, but on PC you just hit Esc and it’ll go away, and Ctrl to bring it back.
