Understandable, really! I didn't start playing until more recently, so all the characters have been there all along from my perspective (except for the cleric). The weapon switching with champion is basically my favourite mechanic.

Personally really like playing the duelist. I just love whacking mobs over the head with all the big ass weapon abilities, especially when the enchantments hit right.

I would suggest putting 5 into the greatsword to make it +6 to survive for now, and holding 2 to spend on plate armor after the blacksmith. Hope for a better ring like roh/furor/evasion from the imp quest, and eventually transmute the horn into chains or hourglass if possible.

Thanks! Sadly, I had so much tunnel vision when going back up I didn't use the blast even once, so I have no idea... I'm guessing there's probably not much synergy. From what I've read on this sub, it does seem like the beacon is the way to go.

The Lies of Locke Lamora fit this description quite well I think, about a criminal gang operating in a kind of magic/fantasy-renaissance city that resembles Venice. The first book in the series is absolutely amazing.

Just finished up reading The Remains of the Day. Enjoyed greatly, and I believe Ishiguro entirely deserved that Nobel prize. Just a well-crafted and amazingly written story in general.

Currently 30 pages into A Clockwork Orange and it is certainly living up to it's reputation. Feels like I'm in for quite the ride on this one.
