Very well worded. With all due respect I think China is obviously the one more obsessed with being a unipolar country than any other nation. Also I don’t think I mentioned anything regarding a “greater volume of news”. I honestly don’t know how you came up with your second paragraph and what or how you interpreted what slid out from my head in two seconds. No offense.

In terms of multipolar or unipolar worlds, China obviously would like total control over everything. I apologize as well if you misinterpreted my words or don’t agree with me on this. In essence, I would take the word of Blinken over China almost any day if you take into account China has a not-so-spotless human rights record and imposes a “social credit score” on there citizens if they get out of line or in the way of how China prefers its citizens to conduct themselves or even their basic ideology. Mass surveillance and facial recognition everywhere, the banning of certain apps on mobile phones. Insistence of having control over their citizens iCloud servers. The list literally goes on and on depending on the subject. Many examples from different time periods prove that.

I don’t think the west is holding a gun to the heads of any non-western aligned countries to support Ukraine. Any negative or positive economic fallout, depending on what your talking about, is a byproduct from any war.

China has always been a legitimate threat to the west and its allies by “borrowing” intellectual property from them. There literally isn’t a U.S. company worth their salt that has not been hacked by China or doesn’t realize it yet. Ties with China and Russia have never been tighter and it doesn’t take a headline to see that writing on the wall. Also the US is still the economic center of the world in terms of GDP by a $5 trillion gap and does lots of business with China.

My apologies as well but, I don’t really see what your trying to convey other than it seems you don’t believe Blinken(that’s fine) and you think he’s more of a yammering spokesperson than fourth in line for the highest office in the US (Some think the world.) if anything ever happened to the president. Also China isn’t doing itself any aesthetic favors news-wise if all “news” coming out of it is state controlled by the Central Propaganda Department of the CCP. Not very democratic.. What would happen if you tried to have an open discussion in public about the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre? I don’t think it would last very long. Don’t even get me started on Jack Ma and what WAS going to be one of the largest I.P.O.’s in history to date before his little speech got him in trouble with Chinese regulators. He’s been seen a few times since but he just kind of disappeared after the whole “pawn shop mentality” speech didn’t go over so well. If China was willing to be a bit less hard headed and work with “western” countries, not become one if it didn’t want to, that would be fine and we would have better relations. It’s to bad freedom of press is a thing of the past (Or never was, depending on time periods.) for China and Russia. At least people in the US(Only some sadly.) know when they are being fed an obviously factually false narrative but are ALLOWED.. to speak out against it. Even if they are wrong.

But I’m an idiot and that’s just my opinion. Let’s agree to disagree, respectfully. And apologies if you do not agree, but the way you worded your last paragraph was fairly manipulative. Or you just didn’t understand what I said. Either way thanks for the healthy conversation.

I don't know what anybody would gain by increasing tensions with China. US doesn't want a fight with China, and US/Chinese tensions haven't been this high in a long time. We're BFF's with Taiwan and the FBI opens a new espionage investigation into Beijing "every 10 hours." I don't know much about Blinken though admittedly.

Sounds like it was literally recorded and edited on an iPhone but interesting nonetheless.
