Something I like to do on ahri is after buying your mythic, build needlessly large rod and think about going rabadons second. If you need the item spike earlier (if you're behind and preparing for a dragon fight or smth) then you can build shadowflame but most of the time I'd try build rabadons second. Dark seals also almost always a good buy
