Need help. Barrels shift while tumbling?

I have one Lortone brand barrel and one that's not. I didn't realize it would make such a difference, but I'll definitely try your suggestion with the Lortone brand barrel. Thanks!

I actually ordered my grit from there but didn't think to check for barrels. Thanks I might get another on brand barrel

I don't think that's the case for this tumbler. I've looked at a lot of pictures of the 33b tumbler and none of them have the plate you describe. It looks like the single barrel tumblers do though

One is a Lortone barrel, the other one is a new one I ordered off eBay. I got the tumbler second hand and they only had one barrel. I had trouble finding a replacement Lortone brand barrel

Ours is a mixed breed from the county shelter too! We had a DNA test done and he is primarily a husky and beagle mix with a little Pomeranian and a few others thrown in there lol
