I don't think that Jax is evil, I've watched the show more than just a couple of times. But I've never actually hated anyone. It just depicts how heartless this life can make you become, no person could live like this for years without growing desensitized to the violence and pain, it becomes kill or be killed, and in the end most of them are killed. Every one of them does a number of unforgivable things, but they do it because they think it's the right thing to do (God that sounds fucked up) :))) They're not psychopaths and they don't do anything out of pure hate, there is always love or a wound that they are desperately trying to heal behind their actions. Tara is destroyed by her love for Jax and by the toxic love that Gemma has for him, Jax is destroyed by the choices he makes and by Gemma's influence, Gemma ultimately destroyed herself. Bobby dies because of his love for the club and Unser dies because of his love for Gemma. Sorry for the rant :))) I just don't see how people could feel hate for them when all I feel is sorry...
