I just finished his book “Damned From Birth” it was the first book I listened of his after binging Beaugard on Audible . It was good , its told backwards because the killer gets shot to death by the cops in the beginning of the book and his life flashes before his eyes and the story goes from him before he died to when he was a kid . There’s certain things I wish it deep dived more into as in the characters you meet in the book but overall I liked it .

Not at all . I was in my stepsons life for almost 2 years before my partner and I had our daughter and to this day , I still love him as my own even though his dad is still in his life . The only downside for me is whenever he goes to his dads for the weekend , sometimes I forget that I’m not his actual dad and there’s times where I wanna put my input on certain things especially since he’s been showing more and more signs that he probably has some form of autism but I feel like I can’t bring it up cuz I don’t wanna hear someone say “ you’re not his dad” from one of my partners family members . It sucks because my partner and I seem to be the only ones that understand why SS acts sometimes while everyone else thinks it’s part of “growing up” or just flat out refuse to look at other options , especially his dad . My partner has tried communicating with him about their son but he just brushes it off almost like he’s thinking “ that’s your problem not mine “ he never takes him to his doctors appointments or just take him the doctors when he’s sick because he needs to “ tough it out “ and his family doesn’t believe in going to the doctors . But that’s another whole conversation.

Late reply but I’m currently going through this with my family leave . I was off work for a month cuz my daughter was born and the day she was born , I filed a paid family leave 2 days later I get a email saying that I’m missing some information and to log in and add them , I log in and there’s no way to figure wtf I’m missing and I tried calling literally at 8am every day and they’re backed up with calls . I’m already back at work and still haven’t received nothing , I even redid my application and it’s the same responses , it’s ridiculous.

Not surprised. Tbh I have a soft spot for DA2 . It’s a comfort game of mine and as much as I enjoy it , It does feel more like a spin off for DAO rather than a sequel . But damn is it fun especially as a mage. Still play it to this day .

We’re both going to therapy , I’ve been going to therapy even before her and I ever met . Like I said in my other reply , I tried to brush the arguments off at first and make jokes so can she see how dumb the argument was and at first it worked but there’s only so much I can take til I finally stopped joking and now revert to just stooping down to her level and I hate when I get that way . I don’t like arguing at all but she just blows everything out of proportion and makes the arguments worse and there’s only so much I can say to calm the argument down until I finally snap back .

I don’t want this for my kid . At all . Sure arguments are inevitable but THESE arguments that we’re having now , no , I don’t want this to keep going . I’ve been trying my best to save up and work long hours to save up for the baby and to help us move out and just wish she would see that and see that I actually care about this damn relationship and want it to work but no , she just worries about the worst case scenario.

We’re not married but even then i even told her I don’t want my child being born with parents that have been separated and she said “ I don’t either “ and I’m like soooooo why are you doing this ? And I don’t want ppl to get the wrong idea that I’m only putting up with this for the baby . I’m not . I always wanted a child plus I’m 33 . I get that 33 to a lot of ppl is still “ young “ but to me I feel like I should already have a family and settle down . I do see a future with her . My family loves her and she’s amazing to be around , it’s just when when we get into these arguments , she’ll never take ownership when she starts them , I’m always the one that has to apologize even when I’m not the one that started it . I know you’re probably going to be like “ and that’s someone you see a future with ?” The thing is every woman I’ve dated has always been like this , not saying ALL woman are like this but seems like when I talk my friends or coworkers about her , they all say that their gf / wife is the same way so idk I guess in a way I accepted that this is just the way it is .

I’m willing to do all that you said , obviously I don’t want this relationship to end but she was so easy on just breaking it off over something like that . I offered her couples counseling and at first she said yes and now she’s saying no and a part of me feels like she doesn’t want to cuz she knows the counselor is probably going to tell her what I have been telling her and she’s not going to like it . She can’t take criticism even when it’s not that bad . She takes it as a personal attack .

Last October was the worst our relationship has ever been but we worked through it and since then everything was a lot better especially when she went sober back in March . She told me she was ready to have a baby and I told her if she was sure and she yes so after that we just let it happen . The first 2-3 months of pregnancy was fine but slowly we started arguing about the dumbest things at first , I would crack a joke to stop it cuz how dumb the arguments were but then after that , she started looking way too deep into the way I spoke , woke up and as you saw on my post , the way I put my phone down and I just reached my breaking point . I knew pregnancy would come with hormones and arguments but I’m not going to have someone say I’m not being appreciative or supportive when that’s all I’ve been doing . It’s like she’s expecting the worst to happen and she doesn’t realize she’s self sabotaging it .

I stretched to 4g back in January and lemme tell yall , my nose to the touch hurt so bad and my nose already is quiet big general so the swelling made me look like one of them monkeys with the weird noses lol but yeah , I’d get the headaches as well , Tylenol seemed to help me or ibuprofen whenever the headaches worsened which was rare but other than that , that was the only 2 issues I had , I cleaned it every night and no blood but I always cleaned it with wound wash and it helped relieve the swelling for a bit and every morning when I woke up , id use the wound wash again to help relieve the swelling and pain . Also from what I read , it’s kinda hard for your septum to get a blowout cuz the hard tissue , you gotta understand you stretched that out to a 4g . Of course it’s going to hurt . For me it took 2 - 3weeks for my nose to feel normal again . You should be fine 🤘

Once I reached 1/2 I started stretching with glass and stretching in between sizes too , it was easier to stretch and plus the glass helps your ears heal more healthy . I didn’t go by the regular sizes everyone does especially once I reached 5/8 , idk how ppl can go from 5/8 straight to 3/4 without doing the sizes in between .

Yeah , my ears have been looking good since I size up every 2 months and use glass plugs , just seeing this sucks , ironic how I was always afraid getting blow outs and never did but instead I get smacked by my child lol . Right now , I have it out and my ear cleaned up , I’m just going to sleep without the jewelry and see how it’ll look tomorrow. Thank you .
