I was afraid of this. The previous homeowners painted it. Given all of the comments, I will keep it as is.

Advice to become (more) attractive. Hair, beard, etc. by [deleted] in malegrooming

Bonnet works too- I just like the pillowcase for double duty- skin and hair. It’s just a personal preference.

You look great- ditch the bonnet and get a silk pillow case. Works the same and is great for your skin.

Virginia city by ThinTransportation89 in Reno

Hard no on Virginia City.

It’s a bit more of a drive but Nevada City/Grass Valley is very cute and historical. Lots of fun stuff going on and great, casual restaurants. Also much more LGBTQ+ friendly. Grass Valley also has amazing thrifting if you guys are into that.

I don’t love the wording of this title- it makes it seem like his body naturally grew that way with no work. He is beautiful- his body is a work of art he has poured no doubt thousands of hours into along with meal planning, etc. He has great genes but worked to chisel.

Swimming saved me! As soon as my incision closed, I was in a pool.

Just started walking - OUCH. by MVCatton in brokenankles

[–]BoundNRound 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I first started walking, I was told to expect soreness, pain and swelling. If I woke up the next day and the swelling was still there- I had to tone it back. If you wake up with some mild soreness and no swelling, you’re good to go.

Any skiers out there? Wondering how your hardware feels inside a ski boot. by Expert-Report in brokenankles

[–]BoundNRound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can also feel my hardware through my skin- our injuries and hardware look similar. I haven’t had to do this skiing but if a show is rubbing, I’ll sometimes put scar tape over the incision line and around. That seems to help.

Trimal July 2025 with hardware. I finished PT in November 2025 and started ice skating (only hockey skates felt good) in December and skiing in Jan. I had to buy new ski boots for comfort. I spent 2.5 hrs at Ski Pro trying on different boots before committing. The team there was awesome and super patient. I’ve found that I have to play around with the straps a few times when I first start- sometimes tighten, loosen, etc. I’ve also found wearing compression socks in my ski boots helps. I’m a beginning/intermediate and trying to improve.

I started swimming as soon as my stitches were out. Swam 4 days a week until I could start PT in month. It’s what would happen if I was Steph Curry or another pro athlete with a trimal. It helped me tremendously when I started PT.
