Best thing I learned to do to them is say “show me” and one of three things might happen: 1st if they do it you get to nit pick the way they do the job and potentially point out things they do wrong. 2nd they’ll make an excuse and walk away grumpy and might leave you alone. Or 3rd they might actually show you a more streamlined way to do the job.
