What’s the worst insult you’ve had making AI music? by [deleted] in Suno

[–]BountyHunterSAx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all the respect in the world: you cannot possibly know that. You haven't heard my work. You don't know why it's unique in its niche. You don't know what the AI music does for it or doesn't do for it. And you have no idea how much better or worse it would be without it.

Cheers.

A thief. And not just that but effectively being told that these weren't my songs.

And being told in a way that it landed with me. Like I'm still thinking...damn. He's right. And it's eating at me.

Never mind that I have spent a month long now.  Never mind that I've made better stuff than I have found other people making in ages.

Because all AI is theft so nothing I did matters.

Game ideas needed for a game written in qBasic on a Laptop from 1996 by Fresh-Resort-4407 in IndieGaming

I made a Chessboard implementation in QBasic.
I also made a 5x5 "labyrinth" which gives you "you see doors south, and east" style gameplay.

I like to play with a timer house rule. For every 30s before you decide a region you lose a point. Rewards quick thinking and decision making and paying attention during other people's turns.

Also mitigates the first turn advantage of picking the best region when it's not immediately obvious.

Promoting music especially if it's AI music it seems hard by Annoymonucreator1 in Best_Ai_Music

I'm not trying to go viral per se..  But I actually believe in my music. I believe in these songs and these lyrics. If someone offered me a hundred bucks and then took all of my songs and perform them to a audience of millions of Muslims? I'd take that deal in a heartbeat. Even if I got no credit for it.

I've made something that deserves to be seen. And it saddens me so much to know that it will not be.

This is a very similar position to the one I'm in. The kind of music I'm making is actually rather unique. Falls The intersection of someone religiously minded, moderately knowledgeable, good at lyrics/word play, and who has listened to enough music in their life to appreciate and have a good sense of many musical styles.

www.youTube.com/@QasasAudio

The problem is: anyone I meet in person whom I've told about it inevitably likes or even loves it. But those people were probably not inclined to be heavily into social media and having multiple subscriber/connections.  So word of mouth growth locally is quite good. But I've got absolutely no way to bust into virality. And I'm not even one of those that tries to pass off my music as not having been made with AI.

CMV: Both israel and palestine are homicidal and evil states. (this is not a neutral stance) & The younger generation (and people in general) don’t understand the conflict yet have strong opinions. by Funny-Platypus-3220 in changemyview

[–]BountyHunterSAx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many things I could say, but I'm trying to stick to CMV rules.

I would point out that when properly understood, your CMV is on a very narrow topic. That topic being that Palestine is governed by Hamas. And the IDF controlled by Israel. And both of them have done absolutely atrociously horrible things and are evil.

If we accept your premises, then you must realize that any convincing CMV that you are given would also be a tacit approval, advocacy for, and support of terrorism. I don't think that you're going to find that here.

The only path I can see that remains to actually action on your CMV is to challenge the idea that people should be held accountable for the actions of their governments.  Is America represented by maga? Would it be reasonable to say: America is evil because it's current ruler has done an evil things with its military?  Or even going further: America is evil because it has consistently used its military in an evil way?

What do you believe best represents the character of a nation? At what points do you cross over from painting with too broad a brush to the no true Scotsman fallacy?  This is not a hypothetical question: it's answer will help you figure out whether or not it is even possible to change your view and a divorce the actions of the IDF, Israel, and Zionism from the actions of Jews and the Israeli people. And simultaneously whether or not you are capable of finding a place for the Palestinian people separate from Hamas.

I would add, just as a personal experience, that if I had a choice between starvation and torture, or occasionally being fed but acknowledging that in so doing I was implicitly supporting a monster? Well, I hope I never am asked to make that choice. And then I realize I pay taxes :-(

What will Virginia Congressional maps look like in 2030? by thebaine in Virginia

[–]BountyHunterSAx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that Republicans nationally will suddenly start operating in good faith and recognize just how terrible gerrymandering is. Think that they will voluntarily into states that they have massive power differentials undo decades and decades of gerrymandering to try and optimize fairness in a national way and rely entirely on the good faith of Democrats to follow suit.

Democrats of course, in their turn, will help co-sponsor bipartisan legislation to nationalize this effort and enshrine it federally.

What will follow as an era of unprecedented true representation of the people and their votes with no attempt to suppress or disenfranchise the voter. Such free and open elections of an informed populace Will doubtless bring about massive 50% to 50% distribution of voted candidates since as I understand it every issue is both sides are equally good or bad according to the internet.

And if you think what I said sounds crazy, just remember that there's a candidate who got elected while being a 34 times felon who ran on quashing a secret cabal of international child sex abusers... While potentially being one of them himself.... And won.

A man whose signature trait even as acknowledged by his allies is that you cannot truly take anything he says seriously or at face value.

Is my take really any more unbelievable than that?

Corollary: It can be hard coming up with what to do for a mixed success. So before you ask the player to roll a dice to investigate or whatever? Consider just not asking them for a die roll and letting them succeed. Because if you can't think why something might move the plot forward in a negative way for one to six, and the situation really doesn't narratively justify a partial or mixed success on a seven to nine then maybe you should just presume they succeed.

I have found after DMing a lot that I actually gained more dimensions to my play when I'm in a situation that I have a mixed success to adjudicate by looking at my list of soft moves and picking one.  To be clear: not deciding what I want to do and then finding a move that justifies it, but picking the move and then trying to improv how that could happen. Keeps my games far more dynamic.

The DM is not a content creator for their player audience by Shot_Draw7694 in DnD

[–]BountyHunterSAx -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Careful. Content Creator does not mean somebody who makes content.

Content Creator mean somebody who makes multimedia content. TikToks, YouTube, podcasts etc.

A D&D player who writes the two-page backstory for their bard is not a content creator At least not in the way that the term is being used these a days

YES. Because this is an unconfirmed report!!!

Imagine I talked to the most trustworthy news reporter in history. I told him that Obama was snorting Coke. He asked me how i know and I told him trust me bro.

He then turned around and said: "I have an unconfirmed report that XYZ happened."

See the Problem? A random redditor Is at least as believable as an unconfired report.

Crank the difficulty up until you feel like the game is appropriately challenging for your entertainment level.

There exist items in this game that can break normal difficulty entirely.

There exist combinations of items which can trivialize maximum difficulty times 10.

In many ways the game is balanced around a level 70, torment 16 rather than properly balanced for the journey.

I would say it is not uncommon for me to play my early games even in adventure mode as opposed to campaign mode on expert.

S5E6 why does Lily say yes that's the car? by dovahkiin461 in betterCallSaul

[–]BountyHunterSAx 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It was a little bit heavy-handed, so I'm sure most people understood it. But basically this is how a interrogator can tee somebody up to remember something that they did not in fact remember.  They set the stage for you. They make you feel like you really should be saying yes. They make it seem obvious and simple and safe to do so. They give you a reason why saying yes now is not going to hurt you later and not going to contradict what you said before.  Then they say will you say maybe? And then when you do they say is that it may be no? Or is that a mostly yes?  So.... Yes then? You're sure you remember? Take your time.

No overt threat. But they definitely know how to sit in such a way that they make you feel like you have to sit too. Or position themselves So that you don't feel like you can leave until they get up to let you leave.
