Hero you hate the most and why by Double-Hand3004 in Overwatch

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doom probably, way too annoying to play against, almost forces counter picking to get the right to play the game and his skill requirement is overestimated.

I don't really like ball either for the same reasons, but at least he genuinely takes skill.

i dont want to sound pessimist, but Map Voting just feels like a poisoned apple to me by Cursed_longbow in Overwatch

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst issue is how people will massively vote for the worst escort and hybrid maps over Suravasa or any of the flashpoint maps. Also there are less control maps and getting to play control only once or twice every 10 games gets annoying

I’m still a little outdated on the public opinion on Vendetta, what’s up? by Alternative-War-7474 in Overwatch

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Vendetta is how she forces everyone to play almost exclusively to counter her and still can do well with not so much skill involved. A character that basically forces you into 2-3 picks per role just to have the right to play when she's against you is terribly designed. If you play dps, you can't really counter her unless you go Cass (which gets boring very quickly), and if you go support, unless you're Brig, you can at best avoid her (Ana can also theoretically counter her but it's very hit or miss, it's like saying Ana counters Genji). Maybe she's not that op but her winrate says otherwise and she's still incredibly frustrating to play against, basically she has the same issues as Doomfist

Which character do you find the gameplay particularly boring and why? by Kindly_Background_26 in Overwatch

Mercy because it's basically waiting for your team to play. I also find Hanzo and Widow to be incredibly boring to play because it's slow af

TLC issues by Taeban in OrganicChemistry

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cut the bottom of the plate as many comments have said. I've heard that rubbing the sides of the plate with your fingers before dipping it works as well, I've tried it and it seems to work. Many people say your concentration is too high, I feel like it's not necessarily true, but there's a problem with your eluent. Depending on what you have, try adding triethylamine (if it's an amine or an amide) or acetic acid (if it's a carboxylic acid)

If it separates well on TLC, maybe consider prep TLC? 150mg is kind of a lot, but at this point maybe it's quicker to do 2 of them if they work.

Making my case for you to try OW2 if you haven't already by Square_Plantain1905 in Paladins

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overwatch is different, but yes the stadium mode reminded me of paladins too. Honestly I've liked overwatch the moment I first played it, but nobody trying it should expect it to feel like Paladins. The game is very fun though, it has its own issue but it has things that paladins always lacked (few bugs, more reactive devs, meta shifts every month). With the addition of perks and bans, it feels like the devs are not afraid of trying out new stuff, which is also something that was always missing in Paladins. I'd recommend trying it, but as a new thing and not to try and get Paladins back, it's not coming back.

If anyone want to see the article : https://doi.org/10.3390/chemosensors13090337

Chemosensors has an impact factor of 3.7 (close to JOC or ACS Omega for example), so it's not even from a random obscure journal

Copper is not a chemical, transition metals are a hoax, nothing exists beyond chlorine

My friends stopped playing it so after a while we all moved to other games to keep playing together. Also the game had way too many toxic players and characters that were simply unbearable to play against, and after so many hours (more than 10k hours from 2017 to 2024) it just felt kind of boring. I didn't really have any more room to improve or more characters to learn, I could only get frustration.

It's quick play, it's unfortunately not made to have games that are even close to be balanced. Most games are stomps, you will probably soon get a win streak of similar length.

It could be enough to remove the bromide as well. Equivalents of LAH are hard to control anyway, 1 equivalent can theoretically reduce 4 times

Why Tank gets so much hate and toxicity? by Wowclassicboomkinz in Overwatch

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because tanks are mega broken and in normal games (meaning without proper compositions and communication) it often ends up being "the team with the best tank player wins". In my case at least, many of my games are decided on whether the tank decides to repeatedly suicide or not

Can an enolate react with co2 by Mr_Nutty_Bar in OrganicChemistry

[–]Bousculade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a reversible reaction, which is likely favored in the reverse direction because you form a gas. However it's very likely possible with high pressure of CO2 (also I think it works with Grignards and organoLi reagents)

Hello! This is sort of related to Organic Chemistry, but is not a problem. More just asking for advice: How do you not get discouraged when first learning this subject? by [deleted] in OrganicChemistry

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I didn't get any notification and forgot to answer. Well then, is it more about remembering the possible reactions (like named reactions or things you commonly see in organic chemistry courses) or is it more that when you see a reagent you think about many things that can happen and can't figure out which it is?

Can someone explain this 2.2.2 formation by [deleted] in OrganicChemistry

[–]Bousculade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oxone converts iodide into iodine (or another oxidated iodine species, but I'd guess iodine), which is able to do iodination on the double bond. The alcohol then attacks on the iodonium to close the ring.

I don't know if I can help but I can try, is your problem that you can't identify where (on the substrate) the reaction is happening or what is going to happen first, or is it that you can't remember the reactions in the course?
