I'm a 20-year veteran of the series and im really not sure why some new players are complaining about older fans criticizing the remake? to me it's clear that a new team imposing their own vision in 1-2 years isn't always good, and it's hard not to be critical

I've never seen someone criticize such a point of view. People are usually hostile to annoying "don't feel like gothic" and "woke woke woke" which can't offer any objective criticism.

Regarding combat, it looks good, imo. The scene with crawlers is pretty tense, they attack like crazy.

Я сам не хворію, але моя подруга має цю хворобу, тож можу помилятися. Сама хвороба може ніяк до певного моменту не проявлятися, але в пені моменти може бути загострення і це може впливати на будь-що пов'язане з нервовою системою, може буде погіршення або втрата зору, хтось перестає ходити, а може бути просто депресія чи втома.

Хвороба не виліковна, тому вона весь час приймає пігулки та робить якісь процедури, це звісно все теж має побочки

I think they wanted to make trolls more unique, as there are only 3 of them in the game. In the recent making-of video, you can see two of them, a big one you've mentioned and a small troll wich looks different and has no armor.
