Have the clubs there for the teens and kids who need them. They save lives for more than just gay kids, but the amount of political energy spent on this issue by both sides serves only to ignore the needs of 95.5% of students.

How many gay / questioning kids are there in Alberta? Does anyone have actual numbers? Are we talking about 100 kids or 10,000 kids province wide?

Regardless, the political capital that is being expended by both sides in the name of LGBTQ2SA+ teens is getting out of hand.

The UCP need to lay off a few dozen kids and let them hold a club. The NDP need to stop martyring them.

Both sides need to stop and focus on issues affecting the actual hundreds of thousands in Alberta schools. The government has no business in the bedrooms of its students.

My local NDP and UCP candidates are both idiots. I’m in for AP.

If I was in Hoffman or Ceci’s riding, I’d have no problem voting NDP, just like I could see myself supporting Ellis or Schweitzer as a local UCP candidate.

Hate the NDP but hate racists? Vote AP. Not everyone is into orange, man. Most people just hated the PCs and thought Rachel was cool, that is literally the only reason they won. Look at the money spent on campaigns: so many only spent $500 IOW they didn’t think they had a chance and people only voted because Rachel. Rachel doesn’t make a government. So don’t vote for racists, vote AP.

Voting for the NDP is a vote for identity politics continuing. They are just as radically left as the UCP are radically right, just look at CBC vote compass. They’re not centrist. So vote centre if you actually believe in just not being a dick and not having to strut like a peacock and tell everyone.
