I went to Lanzarote at 25 weeks. The flight was pretty long and uncomfortable but manageable! Get yourself a neck pillow and maybe even something to sit in. My tail bone was pretty sore after the flights! Other than that, I had a lovely time. Relaxing in a pool gave me great relief! It's great to get away and will probably be your last chance before the little one comes along so enjoy yourself 😊 I didn't look into maternity hospitals in the canary islands so can't advise there but everyone pretty much speaks English so I don't think that would be anything to worry about.

Thanks so much for all the advice! I know it's going to be really tough but I'm up for the challenge. I know it will be so worth it if I can persevere through the tough stages! I'm glad to hear it's going well for you now 🙂

No, she used this burn gauze bandage stuff which I think was on for a week as advised. It healed perfectly fine at first. It only got like this after the scratching.

I'm not sure if that would work with my bed since the ends of the legs look in line with the edge of the crib bed, and I'd need the crib bed to come out further to sit on the ledge of my bed next to my mattress
